ABOUT
在渋谷街頭回眸,在台場相視而笑;
Konnichiwa!
My name is Ng Yew Kong, but you can call me Daniel.
I was born in Kuala Lumpur as Malaysian Chinese, educated in Mandarin, Malay and English. Also fluent in several Chinese direct.
Malaysia is multiracial nation formed by mainly Malay, Indian, and Chinese.
One day, I happened to realize its cultural assimilation always attracted me and
made my shape of today.
After I've graduated from Saito College which spatiality is Design and Art,
my curiosity brought myself fly to Tokyo, and London.
Few years later, I moved back and stay in Tokyo.
Through the experience in Japan as permanent resident,
I learnt an original and unique Japanese concept, Wabi-Sabi.
This means ‘find uncommon beauty in simplicity and even in the edge of ruin’.
All living creatures cannot avoid from death. The fairest rose is at last withered.
But the death and fade, only can gives life a light and joy, I think.
The idea of Wabi-Sabi totally changed my mind and now I hardly work to
capture the shine of life and love through the art of photography.
Each shape of love and life is precious, irreplaceable.
So just don’t hesitate to contact me,
and you’ll find a skilled photographer who is thrilled to be a humble and
loyal audience of life story of you through his lens.
